Tomoko closed her eyes

Kalina Nikolova

"I felt the desire for the unattainable. I felt the suffering of the uninspired. I saw the clash of good and evil. I saw the man tortured by the emotion of his desire for inner harmony. I felt the human being, his drama, his truth ... the most ruthless truth! "
Arnold Schoenberg on Gustav Mahler's Symphony # 3.

Kalina Nikolova (Bulgaria) was born in Sofia in a family of artists and musicians. Since her early age she was interested in arts of any kind.

Applied to the local Art Academy, but life forced her to change priorities, so she pursued career in another field, not related with arts at all. Before two years she discovered digital art for herself and fell in love. It was not an easy start, but little by little all hidden creativity suddenly emerged.

Kalina loves provocation and hidden messages. For her an artwork should make one not only like and feel, but also think. Working in a very different job, she still finds time to create.
